On the first live semi-finals of "Pinoy Got Talent",the Batangueno singer Jovit Baldivino and ventriloquist Ruther Urquia advanced on the grand finals. Jovit received an astounding 80% of the total text and online votes. The other 20% were shared by five other 1st batch Semi Finalist who competed on that event giving him the way to be automatically enter grand finals without the consent of judges. Ruther got the votes of the judges to enter grand finals among other semi-finalists.

Jovit Baldovino is a humble 16 year old from Marilag, Batangas, who grew up from a simple family. Jovit overwhelmingly qualified for the Grand Finals of Pilipinas Got Talent. Jovit rendered the song “Carrie“, originally sang by Europe during his performance. One of the judges, Kris Aquino, described Jovit as the male version of Charice Pempengco, known to be as an International Singing Sensation, International Young Diva and Youtube Sensation.

Then on the second live semi-finals, the magician Allan dela Paz aka Alakim and the pianist and singer Markki Stroem enter the grand finals.

Half-Norwegian Half-Pinoy Markki Stroem from Novaliches, Quezon City charmed one of the judges, Ai Ai delas Alas, with his dashing look and good singing voice.Both the judges and the audience were in for a pleasant surprise that the handsome lad who walked on the center of the stage has a very good singing voice to boot. Markki Stroem (Marcello Angelo Ledesma Stroem), a complete package as he is, is 22 years old and was born to a Filipina mother and a Norwegian father. Markki is into writing songs and playing the piano. He went to an international school in Manila but finished his college education in Switzerland.
