96.7 Cool FM, Naga City, Philippines, the newest radio station to hit the airwaves of Naga City. Its former was the well-known 102.3 X FM Naga City Philippines, previously owned by YANYAN260 before it had merged with the Cool Radio Network last December. The station plays OPM Hits as well as Love Songs, Lite Music and a Contemporary format similar with the previous X FM. As of now, 96.7 Cool FM, as with the former, is owned and operated by YANYAN260 now under the Cool Radio Network Philippines. Well-known DJ’s especially DJ Mar from the former 102.3 X FM were also present until now, and is still working at the new 96.7 Cool FM.
As of today, 96.7 Cool FM is now gaining popularity as with how the former 102.3 X FM started out, gaining popularity outside of the Philippines especially with the OFW’s in the Middle East and Africa. And now, 96.7 Cool FM aims to conquer not only those outside of the Philippines with its unique blend of music, but also in the Philippines, in its hometown, Naga City.
