May 10, 2010 - Philippine General Election

The 2010 election will be administered by the Commission on Elections in compliance with the Republic Act No. 9369, also known as Amended Computerization Act of 2007. It will be the first national computerized election in the history of the Philippines. Although, there were large cases of PCOS machine failures, there would be no postponement of elections.

A special live coverage was on the air through Halalan 2010 of ABS-CBN and Eleksyon 2010 of GMA 7. Many incidents have been reported such as PCOS machine failures and malfunctions, long lines, gun firing and bombing, ballot papers exchange of locations. Vetallano acosta is rejected on his presidency but still name appear on ballot while the PCOS machine still counting it.

Voting time is extended up to 7pm and according to Comelec, if still there are people who want to vote on the line after 7pm, they will allow it as long as these people are 30 meters from voting area. Poll counts are still on going as to this time, 9pm, it is estimated that 25 percent of total votes have been transmitted to the server and still counting.
